The committee has reached an agreement with AIP Publishing to publish the presented works in the AIP Conference Proceedings. Presenters who are interested to publish in this proceeding are welcomed to submit their manuscripts* through the conference registration system. Double blind peer-review process will be applied for each manuscript and the acceptance is strictly decided by our editor and AIP Publishing. An article publishing charge will be applied for each accepted manuscript (see registration fee section below).
Call for papers
The International Conference on Physical Chemistry invites international and Indonesian researchers to attend and present their works in the contributed talk session. The conference also invites young researchers and students to present their works and encourages their discussion with senior researchers. Prospective researcher is required to submit an abstract of their work for consideration.
The current situation of COVID-19 pandemic has led us to believe that the conference need to be organized in combination of onsite and online program to assist wider audiences under different circumstances. Both speakers and audiences are free to choose to come to the venue or participate using online technologies.
Presenters in the conference are also invited to submit a full paper to be considered in affiliated journal or conference proceeding published by an international publisher.
The conference will be hosted by Brawijaya University in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Located around 400 m above the sea-level, Malang is well known for its mild climate. During Dutch colonization, it was a popular destination for European residents, and today it still holds its position as a popular destination for tourism. Among the popular destination are the neighboring Batu town that is known for its breath-taking landscape surrounding and the magnificent Mount Bromo.

About the Conference
International Conference on Physical Chemistry is a scientific meeting organized by the Physical Chemistry Division of Indonesian Chemical Society as a part of its annual meeting. The conference serves as a venue for the international and Indonesian scientists to meet and discuss their research development, mainly but not limited, in the frame of physical chemistry. On top of the knowledge sharing, the conference is expected to initiate fruitful collaborations among attendees. This year marks the first step for the conference.
Conference Scope
The conference will host the following mini-symposia that run in parallel:
- Novel fuel and biofuel
- Catalysts and catalysis
- Frontiers in colloid and interface chemistry
- Advances in nanomaterials
- Quantum and classical molecular dynamics simulation for complex system
- Computational methods for drug designs
- Environmental physical chemistry
- Physical chemistry education
